Gwen's testimony

Gwen bore her testimony for the first time yesterday! I had leaned over to reese to ask him if he wanted to go up and he said no and then Gwen started pouting saying that she wanted to go. I told her to go ahead. We were sitting on the very back and I didn't think she would actually walk the whole way up but she just starting strutting up to the pulpit.she turned to look back when she got half way. I didn't know what to do but she just smiled and kept waking. She got up to the pulpit, pulled the micro phone down to get mouth. I'm still thinking what I should do. If I should go up there out what. I had no idea what she was going to do. But she started by saying that she knew the church was true and then she said something about Jesus Christ that I couldn't understand and then she paused. At this point I was still wondering if I should go up there. But after she paused for a while she just said "in the name of Jesus Christ, amen" and came running back down the aisle with a big smile on her face. I was her if she was nervous and she said that she was because I didn't tell her any secrets before hand. Every Sunday since then she had asked to go bare her testimony.

Jett's 1st bday!!!

Of course it had to be jet themed. 

With a chicken salad croissant sandwich, juice box, cookie, and a bag of chips.

Jett is such a joy in our home. He's  everybody's favorite and most popular. He makes everyone smile and is friendly and flirty with everyone. He's busy baby that doesn't like to play with toys but loves to get into cupboards, climb up on the tall things, and go outside. He's obsessed with airplanes and every time one flies over he immediately stops what he's doing, looks up, points at the sky and whispers "side". I think he's trying to said "outside". Anyway it's freaking adorable! He's got a different look than the other kids but he looks most similar to Carson. He's definitely your biggest baby so far. It took him a while to figure it out but he has got the best laugh! He took his first steps at nine months but didn't really start walking till 10. Now he's running trying his best to keep up with the rest. He's really bowlegged which I think is adorable. He's also pigeon-toed so we'll see if he stays that way. There are times that he also walks on his toes just like his sister Gwen. He figured out the stairs earlier than the other kids at 11 months. He used to be a mama's boy but lately he's turned into a daddy's boy. I don't like it but I guess there are worse things. Jett is such a joy! We love having him in our family!!!

Spud Harvest 2014

 This was the first time my family was able to be a part of spud harvest. Started off great, didn't end to well. Jett was a month old and spiked a fever of 103. When I called the doctor's office, they freaked out and told me to go to the emergency room because it was after midnight. They did a bunch of tests trying to figure out why his fever was so high. They didn't want to give him any medication until they found out what was going on with him. They discovered he had the entrovirus. A week earlier, another one month old died from it so they took extra precautions and admitted him into the hospital. We were there over night. We were supposed to go home but they wanted to monitor him for 24 hrs. Nothing really changed so they ended up giving him some Tylenol once he started getting pretty fussy. Then after the 24 hrs they sent us home and we drove home to cda. The next few days were rough since he obviously was sick and not feeling well but he was fine and it just ended up being a cold. But Jett's the first child to have been hospitalized for an illness!
