Look! I'm a very tall giraffe!

I think he looks a lot like Carson in that first picture!

Reese, do you know why there's farms everywhere?

Because there are grandpas everywhere.

Seattle Trip

Back in the beginning of July we spent the weekend in Seattle. We were running the entire time but it was so much fun! I had a photoshoot Friday night so we didn't leave until late but Ry had the car and kids all packed up so the second I pulled into the driveway we were off. We pulled into Seattle about 1 a.m. and then bright and early the next morning we were headed out to the zoo. Ryan's grandparents donate to the zoo so we were able to get the VIP tour. If you're going to the zoo, that's the only way to go! We got to ride a golf cart, feed a giraffe, take secret short cuts, and rid the merry-go-round for free! Everyone had a blast. Gwen loved seeing all the animals and was really into it. I thought she'd lose interest fast and not really pay attention but she loved it!

After the zoo, we headed over to Dorene's house and had lunch. The last time we went to Seattle we were too late and everything at Pike's Place was closed so we decided to try again. Always lots of fun!

The whole reason why we went to Seattle is to go to the Sounder's game so we hung out at Pike's Place until it was time to go. The game was fun mostly because we got box seats. :) Gwen eventually hit exhaustion and feel asleep on the chair. Super fun trip, pretty much how the rest of the summer has been so blogging has taken a backseat. Hopefully one day I'll catch up!

Angel Wings vs. Devil Horns

A pirate came along and helped me make some peanut butter bars. Cutest little pirate that I've ever seen!

Look it's a sword fish!

That boy is so clever, flared-nostrils and all!
