These boys can't get enough of Woody and Buzz!
I love that Reese is getting old enough to get excited about the same things as Carson. It makes it so much fun as their parents to see them playing together and sharing. Reese totally thinks that he is older than he is! He has no concept that Carson is two years older! He loves the same toys and movies and tries his hardest to run as fast as Carson. It's so sweet!

Why will this kid fall asleep anywhere but his bed?

Carson Quotes of the Day

This morning while snuggling in my bed, he whispers, "Mama, you're my best friend."

Reese is into everything and getting out of everything. He's found his favorite cupboards in the kitchen and he's learned to take off his pants. And now he has a new trick, climbing out of his highchair. One minute he was sitting in his highchair eating goldfish with Carson sitting by him at the table eating pretzels, the next, Carson was at my side and Reese was in Carson's chair at the table eating Carson's pretzels. He was so proud of himself and he looked so cute! It was confusing at first because Reese acted so normal about it. But we're going to have to buckle him in now. Luckily he didn't fall! Sometime today Reese was getting into something and I asked him if he was asking for a death wish. Carson came up to me, "I want a dish will!" "No, Carson. A 'death wish.'" "Oh, I want a dish wish!"

Christmas Break and Beyond!

Yes, we've been watching a lot of Toy Story.

We had a great vacation with the Crandalls. We started off the Christmas right, by reenacting the Nativity. Good times.

Christmas Jammies
Carson is eating the reindeer's carrot. That kid love his veggies!
Christmas Morning
As you can see there was no shortage of presents!
Carson didn't really get into it. We didn't sleep well at all so our mornings were pretty rough.
Reese had a blast! He was really getting into it, ripping open presents and playing around.

We also spent some time at Schweitzer Resort in a relatives cabin right on
the hill. My favorite part was skiing with Ryan. It was so nice to get away and take our time! It felt like when we were first married (before kids)! These pictures don't do any justice to how beautiful it was!
Christmas Outfits
New Year's wasn't too eventful. We came to the conclusion that New Year's is totally over-rated. Especially when you're LDS, married, and have kids. So we just watched a movie, tried to stay awake and then immediately went to bed after the countdown. But New Year's Day the Cran Fam ran a 5 mile race!

Eleven Months Old

As a side note, not to distract from Reese's "big day," Carson is officially obsessed with Toy Story. He's been playing Buzz since Christmas and today he came up to Ryan and said "I'm Carson-Buzz and you're Woody-Daddy." Then they quoted pretty much the entire movies, 1st and 2nd, back and forth. But it's starting to get dangerous because Carson made his first attempt at flying today. He jumped off the couch and face-planted right into the carpet. There wasn't any blood but a lot of tears. We think he was more heart broken at the fact that he wasn't the real Buzz and couldn't fly.

Carson Quote(s) of the Day

"Can I have a drink of alligator?" Translation: I want a drink of Gatorade.

"I want to be a jerk!" Carson has come down with a horrible case of the Terrible Twos.
